Warranty

The Manufacturer warrants its products to the original purchaser of record and for the original vehicle on which the product was installed, against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product.  The manufacturer will replace the product or any defective part, free of charge, for as long as the product is owned by the original purchaser.  This warranty does not extend to damage through improper use, weather, neglect, abuse, modification and or disassembly.  Nor does it include changes in appearance of the products due to road hazards and lack of maintenance or extremes of heat or cold. Any modifications to the Cortek product or its intended use will void this warranty in its entirety.

This warranty shall apply only if upon inspection of the returned product by the manufacturer, the product discloses a manufacturing or material defect.  The obligation to repair or replace that is provided under this warranty will be at the Manufacturer’s discretion.   This warranty will be voided if it is judged to be incorrectly installed.

This warranty does not cover expressed or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are hereby made except as otherwise expressly provided herein. In no event shall the Manufacturer, Dealers or Distributors be liable for any loss, inconvenience or damage, whether direct, incidental, consequential or otherwise.

If you have any problems with a Cortek product, involving either installation or performance, please call the Manufacturer immediately. The Manufacturer, its Distributors and/or Retailers will take all necessary steps to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your product. The Manufacturer reserves the right to exclude the performance muffler’s sound from this warranty. If you are not satisfied with the sound level of your product, please visit the FAQ’s for more information on how to adjust your sound before contacting the Manufacturer.

Before returning the product to a retailer or distributor, please contact the Manufacturer and provide all of the necessary details, including the reason why you are making a warranty claim, your name, address, telephone number and proof of the date of retail purchase (invoice copy). Please pack the product(s) for shipment with care; to avoid damages in transit and use UPS (United Parcel Service) as your freight carrier for your product(s) return.

Except as set forth above, no other express or implied warranty of any kind or nature is given by the manufacturer in connection with the purchase or use of Cortek products. In no event shall the manufacturer be liable for special, incidental or consequential damages arising from the ownership or use of any Cortek product. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; however you may also have other rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. This warranty covers only the products stipulated and does not include the cost(s) of removal or reinstallation of the product. No unauthorized person or representative can extend any of the warranties on behalf of the Manufacturer, other than the warranty expressed herein. This warranty replaces all previous warranties.
